Frequently asked questions
Where is my data stored?
Your data is stored exclusively in Denmark, on servers we own and operate ourselves. It is never handed over to American or other foreign cloud providers.
Can I open and edit Microsoft Office files?
Yes. Euro-Office opens and saves Word (DOCX), Excel (XLSX) and PowerPoint (PPTX) files directly in the browser, and several people can edit the same file at once.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Everything works in the browser. If you want your files on your computer or phone, you can install our sync apps for Windows, macOS, Linux, Android and iOS.
Can I share files with people outside my organization?
Yes. Create a share link protected with a password and an expiry date, or an upload-only link that lets customers and partners send files to you.
Can we hold video meetings with external guests?
Yes. Dialog lets you invite guests to a chat or video meeting with a link — they do not need an account.
Can I take my data with me if I leave?
Yes. The platform is built on open source with no vendor lock-in, and you can export your data at any time.
